Useful Tools

Creating engaging session plans is part of our jobs as SI leaders. Worrying about how to format them for the archive shouldn't be. Here are a few tools to make that step a little easier on you!
LATEX Equation Editor

LATEX (pronounced "lah-tek") is an extremely powerful typesetting language used by many academic journals and associations, including the American Mathematical Society (AMS). Not surprisingly, it typesets mathematical formulae beautifully.

Its markup language is also quite difficult to learn at first. This editor should help you take your first steps with the symbols buttons above but allow you to go wild once you know the language. Click the image once you're satisfied to save and upload to your activity page!

Oh, and if you are really looking to get "into" LATEX, check out this list of symbols and ask Westley if you have any trouble.
